Rectal Foreign Body

This is an actual KUB x-ray on a patient seen in the ED. Though some patients in this scenario will complain of constipation or rectal pain, this patient readily admitted to "an object being lodged in the rectum." The object was a can a shaving cream, minus the lid. After radiologic verification, the can was removed digitally (by the lucky intern). Fortunately there was no breach of rectal or colonic lining.

Cranioplasty (alloplastic)

This photo is oriented as follows: inferior = anterior, superior = posterior.
The bottom of the photos is the anteromost delimit of the reconstruction, at the junction of what remains of the frontal bone and the naso-orbital-ethmoid region. The orbits are just below this. The top of the photo is the posterior extent of the reconstruction, joining with native parietal bones. This individual was the victim of a gunshot wound. Most of the frontal region was lost and reconstructed with a combination of titamium mesh and polymethylmethacrylate.
